Jumbo Floating Restaurant, operated by Jumbo Kingdom - a leisure and entertainment business unit of Melco International Development Limited ("Melco" or the "Group", HKSE Code: 200), has resumed service since 1 May after maintenance works were completed. The floating restaurant left the Guangzhou Huangpu Shipyard for Hong Kong on 26 April 2007 with enhanced safety fittings and other equipment.

Operating the Jumbo and Tai Pak Floating Restaurants in Aberdeen, Jumbo Kingdom has been a popular destination for tourists and locals. To enhance its image as a fine-dining establishment and to celebrate its 30th anniversary, Jumbo Kingdom will launch a series of promotional campaigns in mid-June including advertising on outdoor multi-media channels such as Roadshow. Jumbo Kingdom has been an active support of community and charitable events. It has worked on charitable events with organizations such as Aids Concern and The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong and is contacting various charities for cooperation opportunities.
